Mount Kosciuszko can be seen in the middle of this photo.

Early in the morning on Wednesday 23 February, Year 8 began their adventure to the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park.

They made it all the way to the highest point in Australia, Mount Kosciuszko, the next afternoon. The summit of Mount Kosciuszko reaches to 2,228 metres high! They enjoyed a wide range of activities, including scenic views while riding the ski lifts, learning about the geography of the mountains and terrain and taking plenty of photos to remember their achievements.

Though tired and weary upon their return to RJ late Friday afternoon, Year 8 were excited to share their stories and adventures from the past few days. Thank you to the teachers who organised such an enriching experience!
