Students sample dishes such as Salmon En Papilotte, Miso Eggplant and Earl Grey Cupcakes.

On Friday 17 June, Years 11 and 12 Hospitality students had the privilege of attending a Buffet Lunch at Waterloo Dining.

Waterloo Dining is a restaurant connected to the William Angliss Institute (WAI) that enables WAI students to conduct real-life service periods as part of their training.

The WAI students who conducted the Buffet Lunch had begun their training at the same time as our current Year 11 cohort (February 2016). It was inspiring to see the amazing creations from students at the same stage as our RJAS students!

We sampled a diverse range of dishes such as Salmon EnPapilotte, Miso Eggplant, Vegetarian Lasagne, Earl Grey Cupcakes, Chocolate Mousse, and Lemon Tart.

Afterwards, a representative from William Angliss talked briefly with students about how William Angliss offers training in the Hospitality industry, and the different careers on offer.
