Richard Johnson Anglican School is based in Oakhurst, in Western Sydney. The goal of the School is to provide accessible Christian education, emphasising academic excellence and growth in Christian values. Whilst parents of students need not be Anglicans, they need to be supportive of the School’s Christian philosophy and principles.

Richard Johnson encourages students to achieve their best in all areas of education: academic, cultural and physical. The School nurtures students so that they are able to accept responsibility, demonstrate commitment and personal initiative, become self disciplined and show sensitivity to the needs of others in a purposeful, caring and enjoyable learning environment.

The School is owned by the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation. Responsibility for the School’s policy development and financial matters is vested in the School Council, which is appointed by the Corporation Board. Daily operational matters, including staffing, enrolments and the various educational programs are the responsibility of the Principal.
